A beautifully restored, century-old movie palace.

Twelve Lions Film Festival is headquartered at The Kentucky Theatre, a beautifully restored, century-old cinema in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. This Beaux Arts masterpiece is owned by the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government and managed by the nonprofit Friends of The Kentucky Theatre. The Kentucky Theatre’s movie schedule emphasizes the best in art-house, foreign, and independent films. It is one of a few remaining movie palaces in the United States.

While Twelve Lions will unfold at multiple venues across the city, opening- and closing-night festivities and film screenings will take place at The Kentucky Theatre.
