We’re committed to continuing the best traditions of the Kentucky. That means independent film, the Summer Classics, midnight screenings of Rocky Horror, and more. And that means preserving the historic fabric that makes the Kentucky an architectural gem.

We’re equally committed to introducing new programs and initiatives that will make the Kentucky an even more vital and dynamic institution as it enters its second century. This includes expanded repertory film programming, more curated film festivals, musical programming, a membership program, and a first ever Kentucky Film Festival.

The Kentucky was hit very hard by COVID, so fundraising has to be a major priority for us. But the good news is that we’re now a nonprofit, so all donations to the Kentucky are tax-deductible.

We're very excited about starting the first-ever membership program at the Kentucky Theatre. In exchange for a small annual fee, members will be able to take advantage of discounts on tickets and concessions, member-only events, and other perks.
